Peter Robertson
Senior Partner
Peter M. Robertson is married with three teenage daughters. He was educated at Dollar Academy, Aberdeen Grammar School and Aberdeen University, qualifying as a solicitor in 1979, in which year he joined the firm of Cochran & Macpherson. Peter became a partner in the firm in 1982.
Peter deals with general legal business including the purchase and sale of commercial and domestic property, wills and executries, and property factoring.
Gareth Masson
Solicitor/Partner
Gareth A. Masson is married with a young family. He was educated locally at Robert Gordon's College and the University of Aberdeen, completing his studies in 1992, and qualifying as a solicitor and Notary Public in 1994. That year he also joined Adam Cochran as an assistant solicitor, and was appointed a partner in the firm in 1999. Gareth is involved mainly in Civil Court work, with an emphasis on Family Law and Reparation. He has an excellent working knowledge of most types of legal work, including property related issues, and is happily to assist and advise on matters within his wide experience. Recently he has advised clients on the education law related issues of appeals against placing requests and exclusions from school. He is also regularly assisting grandparents on child law matters.

Lynne Burke
Solicitor/Partner
Lynne is married with a young son. She was educated at Montrose Academy, but has lived & worked in Aberdeen since commencing her Degree with Aberdeen University in 1993. She joined the firm in 1999 as a trainee, qualifying in 2001. The firm was delighted to announce her assumption as a partner in April 2007. Lynne has considerable experience in matters relating to housing, agricultural and property law, as well as civil court related matters.
