About Us

The firm of Adam Cochran is the amalgamation of two well established firms. The first was established in 1830 as Adam and Anderson, and later became Adam, Thomson & Ross. The firm of Cochran & Macpherson was established in 1839. In 1980 the two firms amalgamated to form the current firm of Adam Cochran. Since the 1830's the firm has been actively involved in the affairs of Aberdeen and North East Scotland since our formation, acting for many well known local companies and personalities. In many cases we are able to trace a connection with our clients to the early days of the firm, having acted for generations of families.
